I help women learn to listen to themselves, trust themselves, love themselves, and cultivate radically satisfying relationships.
As beautiful as women are, it’s not always easy being one.
If you’re a woman (or teenage girl) who:
- Struggles with intimacy or connection to others
- Finds it hard to assert yourself or create healthy boundaries in relationships
- Has challenges with loving and having compassion for yourself
- Does not trust yourself
- Ignores your intuitive wisdom and finds yourself in regretful situations
- Has a history of trauma
- Continues to live the painful results of past circumstances
I am here for you!
I take a mind-body approach to therapy as a licensed psychotherapist and experienced registered yoga teacher.
Here’s a little more about my training:
I received a Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University in New York City. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Texas and New York State. I am a senior-level advanced yoga teacher (meaning I also train other people to become yoga teachers).
I have 12 years of experience teaching yoga and meditation in diverse settings, from traditional yoga studios, to hospitals, drop in centers, and mental health clinics. As an E-RYT 100, I hold the highest level of recognition from Yoga Alliance and have completed over 500 hours of training in vinyasa/flow and hatha yoga combined with thousands of hours in teaching experience over the past 12 years. I’ve completed additional yoga trainings in Trauma Informed Yoga Therapy, restorative yoga, and pre-natal yoga. I received my 500 hour teaching certification with Shiva Rea in Venice Beach, California. I lead Trauma Conscious Yoga trainings around the U.S., including trainings for therapists who wish to learn how to integrate yoga their clinical work. Click here to go to my yoga training website. I am also a certified Holistic Health Coach with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP).
I am trained in the following psychotherapeutic orientations: EMDR, Attachment-Focused EMDR, Mindfulness, Trauma-Informed Yoga, Relational Psychotherapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
We can work together in my office in Austin or via online counseling.
